“It Will Never Be the Same”: Following an End to a Tumultuous Season, Deion Sanders Foretells a Football Revolution at Colorado Buffaloes

After hyping every aspect of college football with a pristine 3-0 season start, the Colorado Buffaloes couldn’t carry their success ahead as they leave the regular season. And who else but Coach Prime Deion Sanders would receive all the backlash for rising on top of the game to sinking to the bottom? But this disappointing season isn’t the end for Deion Sanders who has plans up his sleeves for the next season. 

Colorado’s last 23-17 defeat against Utah rendered them an overall season record of 4-8. Despite getting only four wins, the change that Coach Prime brought to Boulder in his first season is still impressive, considering that they were 1-11 last season. And now that he has tasted the fruits of success, even if it’s only for a brief moment, his confidence and determination have grown even bigger. 

Deion Sanders sparks hope for Colorado fans

It’s no secret that Deion Sanders’ arrival in Colorado made a deep transformation both for the program as well as college football. After ending this season on a dismal note, one of his best traits shone brighter than ever before – his confidence. He recently took to Twitter to update his fans that they’re working to get better, saying, “We pretty much put a mark in college football and what we’re going to do from here on, it will never be the same.

Coach Prime entered Colorado with star players including his QB son Shedeur Sanders and 2022 No. 1 recruit and two-way star Travis Hunter. And while they gave the nation a lot to talk about, they didn’t manage to make it for a bowl appearance. Following the end of the season after a dreary record, three players de-committed from Colorado in 24 hours. They’re namely QB recruit Danny O’Neil, QB prospect Antwann Hill Jr., and RB prospect Jamarice Wilder. However, Coach Prime remains unfazed by the situation, saying, “A kid ain’t even faithful to his girlfriend. You think he’s gonna be faithful to a school? Come on, man.

Deion Sanders and the Buffs will return to the Big 12 Conference next season, and he is doing what he can to transform their team for the better. Coach Prime keeps teasing his fans with cryptic recruiting messages and hopefully, this aspect will be able to then the Buffs around for the next season. There are strong indications that Colorado will take their NIL ventures a notch more seriously as part of their preparation.

The Colorado Buffaloes will enter the next season as Big-12 members in the hopes of winning their first bowl appearance since 2020. As Coach Prime assures fans that Colorado won’t be the same as big changes are coming, we can only wait and see if his fresh efforts will make a difference.
