The Colorado Buffaloes prodigy, Jordan Domineck, had put his best foot forward while debuting in the world of the NFL. He has made the best use of his chance to showcase his talents at the annual pro day on March 16. The efforts did not seem to go unnoticed, as Jim Harbaugh and the company have found solace in Domineck. Now that the rookie minicamp is all set to hit the grounds, the Los Angeles Chargers officially invited the linebacker, as confirmed in an Instagram post.

However, here lies an interesting fact. The Bolts had recently picked up Michigan Wolverines linebacker Junior Colson. That makes the fans and analysts wonder about the invitation extended to the rookie.

Domineck gets a Hollywood ticket

It is time for some big news for Domineck as he receives an open invitation to fly to Hollywood. A few days back, not knowing what was in store for him, the linebacker tweeted, “Whatever happens, it’s all God’s plan. Can’t wait to see what he has in store for me for the future.” Then there came the good news from the official account of Colorado Buffaloes with a poster showing Domineck at the front with the word “INVITED” written in bold white letters and the signature “HOLLYWOOD” in the background.

Domineck could land himself in any big house in the NFL. However, Harbaugh got it all covered for him. After six seasons of college football, the 6-foot-2, 240-pounder will carry a record of 51 tackles and a 4.93-second 40-yard dash into the Chargers. A question continues to linger: what priority does Colson hold in the Bolts?

Colson finds a chance to reunite with Harbaugh

It is a time for reunion as Colson joins his former Wolverines’ gridiron guru in Hollywood. The Chargers selected the Michigan star linebacker, using their No. 69 pick in the draft. His previous stint at Michigan raised intrigue with Harbaugh as Colson played a significant role in leading the school to the first national championship since 1997.

In his stint at the Wolverines, he finished the 2023 campaign with 95 total tackles and two pass deflections. Besides, at the Rose Bowl win over the Alabama Crimson Tide, he did leave a mark, finishing with 10 tackles. His record in the College Football Playoff title against Washington is six tackles. Even though Colson became the fourth Michigan player to be selected in the draft, he has yet to receive a welcome message from the Chargers HC.

The big plan behind Harbaugh inviting linebacker Domineck into the rookie minicamp while adding linebacker Colson to their roster remains a mystery. The reason could be that since the linebacker position has declined in importance over recent years, the Bolts are looking out for multiple options to add defensive depth.
