As the Michigan Wolverines were accepting the trophy of the Big Ten Champions at the hands of none other than Tony Petitti, Jim Harbaugh had the biggest smile on his face. And the response he would give to the world etched in his mind. He is hardly to blame for his boastfulness, as this trophy marks the third time straight that the Wolverines are crowned the Big Ten Champions.

Not only was Jim Harbaugh proud of his players for their performance, he was proud of the support they showed towards him. As he was serving his three-game suspension, offensive coordinator and offensive line coach Sherrone Moore made sure Michigan did not lose the three critical games as the interim head coach. All these efforts led the team towards the clean 26-0 score they could score against Iowa.

Jim Harbaugh gave the last blow to the “Bet” movement

As a part of the post-game celebrations, Harbaugh could not contain himself as he uttered a comment. Despite it being just a single word, it held a significant value for the team, given the situations they have been dealing with lately. While talking with Fox Sports’ Joel Klatt in the trophy ceremony, Harbaugh spoke a loud and proud “BET”, representing the ‘Bet movement’ undertaken by the Michigan players earlier this season.

After Harbaugh was suspended due to the sign-stealing allegations, fans and critics alike did not miss a chance to raise questions about the legitimacy of the team, as well as their scores. The Wolverines had no option but to show them their real game. Almost as a precautionary warning, the Wolverines QB JJ McCarthy posted “BET” on his X, a suit which his teammates followed soon.

Surprisingly, the trend was not limited to just the Michigan players. Even die-hard Michigan fans like Tom Brady took to their social media to share the movement. Given the reach of Brady, the movement soon garnered attention from all over the world. After this, even the Lucas Oil stadium went out of its way to show its support to the head coach as he returned from suspension.
