Woah! Julian “JuJu” Lewis knows how to keep everyone guessing. Despite not yet committing to Deion Sanders’ Colorado Buffaloes, the five-star quarterback keeps USC Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley on his toes. Another hint drops as JuJu posts an Instagram story with a Buffs touch. Lewis seems sure about his Buffs’ transition but would like to add a touch of suspense. Why wouldn’t he prefer Deion Sanders? Coach Prime has come up with back-to-back grand gestures only to woo Lewis.

On the other hand, he is aware of Caleb Williams’ fate at USC and the current scenario of Riley’s program. There is no such scope in Buffs as Deion has a guarded army for JuJu’s protection.

Lewis’ teasing act with a Buffs touch

While college football fans are racking their brains over Lewis’ next destination, the QB seems to have a good time. His latest IG story shows him eating at a famous Panama City Beach, Florida diner. But WAIT, WAIT, WAIT! It’s just not any random picture from his dinner date. As JuJu posted a snap of the dining table with a mat and fork placed carefully, something else was peeking — his shorts with a CU Buffs logo! Is the five-star QB trying to soft-launch the Buffs?

Lewis seems to have mastered the art of dropping hints. As pointed out by Matt H., he posted about Colorado not once, not twice, but FOUR TIMES! And obviously, it did not go unnoticed. He became a social media colossus as the posts got over 1.4 million views. In one picture, he is seated on a Buffs’ throne as if asking for the ball from the Buffs quarterback, Shedeur Sanders. The caption was enough for fans to go gaga as it said, “Could it be “Perfect Timing”?” Meanwhile, it gives rise to an absolute high-alert situation for Riley.

Issues in Riley’s squad vs. Deion’s reassuring changes

To give a better view of the current scenario in USC Trojans, the DNVR Buffs Podcast thought it wise to pick up the topic. The analyst, Jake Schwanitz, stood firm because Deion’s Colorado will indeed have an edge over Riley’s. Courtesy? The worsening state of the Trojans. “They are not even what they were two years ago at this point…they have problems defensively that have plagued Lincoln’s USC career,” claimed the analyst.

Apart from this, what might turn against them is that they failed to protect one of their greatest assets, Caleb Williams. Schwanitz said, “Two years ago they were in the Pack 12 title game when Caleb got hurt and I know that played a huge factor but they just couldn’t defend anyone.” Hence, Williams was struck by the massive blow when Riley’s defense fell apart. But Deion had already started with his homework to provide the safest environment for their favorite JuJu.

Having battled the effects of a weak defense as Shedeur ended last season with the most sacks, Deion vows not to fall into the same trap. Coach Prime did a complete makeover to bolster his O-line and has landed two big shots — four-star offensive lineman Chauncey Gooden and offensive tackle from West Bloomfield High, Jay Gardenhire. Lewis can count on Colorado Buffaloes as his safety is guaranteed!
