Hence, Landry Kiffin ensured to spend some quality time with his father and came up with a master plan: a surprise birthday party. HC Kiffin turned 49 this year, and of course, daddy’s little princess had to do something special.

The 19-year-old Landry has closely witnessed his father’s journey with the Ole Miss. Knowing how much effort HC Kiffin puts in, the daughter decided to give her father an evening away from planning the gridiron strategies. May 9, Thursday, marked the last lap of the 40s for Kiffin and he was spoilt by her daughter as the duo went out for a dinner date. Posting a picture from the evening, in front of Kiffin is spotted a dessert topped with a birthday candle. The caption of the post read, “Thanks for the party Landry”.

The father and daughter share a strong bond and it was Landry who propelled HC Kiffin to become an internet sensation. Kiffin and Landry have been spotted multiple times entertaining fans with their prank videos. Now that the expectations of fans from the program have skyrocketed, the coach hardly gets any chance to spend quality time with his daughter. But May 9 was a bit different.

Kiffin takes it slow for the Rebels

As per the sources, the Ole Miss Rebels are preparing for one of the biggest seasons in program history this fall. Kiffin’s squad is setting their sights on their first-ever College Football Playoff appearance. In the midst of the hype, the Rebels found themselves in the Top 10 of another set of post-spring rankings this week.

Adding to the intrigue, Kiffin took to Instagram to share the 12 games that the Rebels are scheduled to play. However, the coach did not let it go all of a sudden. Instead, he chose to walk on a fascinating path adding a touch of suspense. While sharing the team’s 2024 season schedule, for the caption, the Ole Miss HC chose to write, “1-0 is all that matters. Beat Furman.” This was the reply to the original post that CFB Alerts shared on their Instagram page asking fans to predict the number of wins Rebels will secure this time.

However, instead of allowing himself and his program to get carried away by the waves of heavy expectations, all that Lane Kiffin adheres to is taking one game at a time. Hence, he is not much bothered about the future and is spotted enjoying his birthday sundae.
