If the Colorado Buffaloes transfers throw dirt at Deion Sanders’ program, Shedeur Sanders and Justin Mayers know how to protect their home. The tradition started with an ex-Buffaloes cornerback, Cormani McClain, who demeaned the Boulder program; Xavier Smith and others have carried it forward.

The latest transfer, Gavin Kuld, hit the last nail. Enough is enough for the QB-OL duo as they now take charge of reversing the narrative. In an attempt to bring the truth forward, Shedeur and Mayers openly launched a challenge to Deion Sanders’ haters on X.

Shedeur’s challenge for honest reviews

The first thing that transfers do now, even before finding their next stop, is to go on live interview sessions demeaning their previous programs. It is no exception for Buffaloes’ transfers. Now that their ex-backup QB has hit the transfer portal, he did talk negatively about Deion Sanders and his program. Even though the MagDog TV interview was deleted within some time, it left Shedeur and Mayers infuriated at the lack of classiness of both parties. The quarterback expressed frustration with the firm belief that these interviews are dogmatic, “Y’all just interview anyone that leave from Colorado just to get a negative look on the program.”

While Shedeur called it off by accusing them of portraying only the negative side of the Buffaloes program, Mayers took it to a greater level. Being deeply hurt by the actions of the transfers, the OL let out an open challenge. In his tweet, Mayers threw a threat, “To all those media (YouTube) channels. Let’s do a real interview, unhinged abt the truth . 50/50”. A few minutes before his threatening call for a 50-50 trail was another alarming tweet.

Mayers’ strong stance defending Colorado

All these attacks come off from hate; this is what Mayers believes. After Kuld’s exit, even his tweets say, “Hate be so real in this world. It’s crazy cuz whenever these players are here they are happy. But when they leave all of a sudden they got beef.” This was followed by another tweet that exposed Mayer’s attempt to take firm action for the haters“I think it’s really time to stop sparing these people . They thriving off hate . That’s crazy to me. The real always prevails, stay blessed!”

This is also believed by fans who found out that out of everything, what Kuld talked about was Shedeur and his lavish style, attacking his NIL valuation. A part of the deleted video finds Kuld claiming, “Look at Arizona, look at (Noah) Fifita, he did with all his money…look at Colorado this guy has got six cars and an apartment.”

It is not just Kuld, but other transfers like Cormani McClain and Xavier Worthy walked on the path, questioning the ethics and morals of Deion Sanders’ program. Hence, Shedeur and Mayers’ joint action will come off as a warning to athletes in the future who would give it a second thought before degrading Coach Prime and the Colorado Buffaloes.
