It’s time for some surprises revolving around the upcoming NFL draft. Being among the top 3 picks, there has been much tension revolving around Jayden Daniels’ next probable destination. It is when the LSU wide receiver, Malik Nabers, steps in to spill some beans. In the Instagram video shared by Dov Kleiman in his tweet, Nabers was found speaking with a hint of secrecy.

Nabers adds a touch of secrecy to Daniels’ next move

Both having played together for LSU, Nabers knows what to talk about his former teammate Daniels to grab the attention of the NFL fans immediately. During his two seasons-stint at LSU, Daniels shot to fame by showcasing his dual-threat ability. With this, he even landed the Heisman Trophy last season. Gradually, as the upcoming NFL Draft approaches, there has been much abuzz about Daniels, who holds the No. 3 position among the quarterbacks. Amidst the suspense, Nabers further adds to the intrigue, claiming, “I’mma tell you boys anyways, I’mma say where he going. And y’all never gon’ believe it. He might partner with his old homie.”

Even though Daniels was present on the opposite side of the video, he refused to open his mouth. Instead, he laughed it away. To add a touch of secret, he only answered in a chuckling tone, “That’s what you’re gonna do?” Even though neither gave a concrete answer, the speculation game has been going strong.

Will Daniels land up in the Las Vegas Raiders?

NFL fans and analysts alike have picked up one phrase from Nabers’ statement: “Old homie.” The Nabers-Daniels bond has been there for quite a long time now. However, “homie” refers to none other than Antonio Pierce. The duo had spent some time together at Arizona State, where Pierce was the recruiting coordinator. It was he who brought Daniels into Arizona State.

Later, they parted ways, with Daniels transferring to LSU and Pierce joining as the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. The Daniels-Pierce duo reunited at the NFL Scouting Combine a few days back. Having the No. 13 overall pick in the NFL Draft this year, going by the analysis, the Raiders likely will not have a shot at the quarterback.

This is because Daniels will not surpass the No. 3 overall pick. So the Las Vegas Raiders will have to make up a deal with the New England Patriots or Washington Commanders. The final verdict on the quarterback has everyone’s attention.
