‘Free Harbaugh’ Banner at Lucas Oil Stadium Commands Attention Following the End of Michigan Scandal Suspension

Jim Harbaugh, a tainted name in today’s college football. Thanks to the sign-stealing fiasco, the Michigan Wolverine coach is currently serving his suspension period till Big Ten completes its investigation. Yet, Harbaugh trained his boys well, as they proudly earned their last few wins after the debacle was in front of the public, truly deserving their untainted record.

With complete chances at the National Title this year, after clinching the Big Ten East title on Saturday after beating the Buckeyes. Following this, they will have their shot at the Big Ten and the chance to go forward into college football playoff conversations. Well, they learned from someone who had some pretty spectacular NFL records. Along with the records, Harbaugh also earned the respect and admiration of his past teams, especially the Indianapolis Colts.

Fans want Jim Harbaugh’s to be free

Out of the same admiration and respect that the Colts hold for their former QB, the team set up banners of “Free Harbaugh” at their home stadium, Lucas Oil, after they beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday. Along with the banner, the 6-5 Colts also filled Michigan’s spirits with inspiration by hanging the “Free Harbaugh” poster, right after two B1G Football Championship posters with 2021, and 2022 written on them. In a way, it gives the team another remainder at redeeming their coach’s reputation by bringing home the Big Ten Championship home for the third time straight.

Who is to blame, Harbaugh gave his best when he joined the Colts in 1994, after playing with the Bears for 7 seasons. In his second season, he played with the Colts, Jim Harbaugh led the team to the AFC Championship game, which they unfortunately lost. However, for his brilliant performance, Harbaugh was named PFWA Comeback Player of the Year and AFC Player of the Year in 1995. In the following season, Harbaugh led the team to the AFC Championship, which they lost yet again to the defending champions Pitsburg Steelers.

However, the reputation part rests on the shoulders of the players.
