When an influential figure with a vivid history of surgeries, 21 to be precise, and a never-ending animosity with blood clots issues a picture of himself in a hospital, fans will naturally grow concerned. However, the caption calmed all the worries of fans as it stated, “I was all good.” Deion Sanders and his blood clots have taken over the minds of the Prime fans, especially after Sanders had to amputate two of his toes and several tissues out of his claves and thighs.

Deion Sanders took to his Instagram to announce a recent test he carried out and the results of it. He started with a strong, “Men I need y’all to hear me CLEARLY! I had a COLONOSCOPY today & I was all good. I didn’t want to but I needed to do it and so do u. Let’s be PROACTIVE regarding our HEALTH & stop acting like we all good. Let’s be SURE,” asserted he. Moreover, he gave a special thank you note to the CU’s athletic trainer Lauren Aeskevold. To this, his former teammate tried to cheer him up with his jokes, along with expressing how much he adores him.

“Got mine done a few days ago. You have to stay here for me bro!! FORGET EVERYONE ELSE. You know OLE JAMES needs his younger BIG BROTHER. Love ya,” wrote Irvin. It seems that the two of them have joined hands to make people aware of men’s health and break the surrounding myths. Coach Prime’s caption urged the population, especially more exposed men, to get a colonoscopy despite the myth that only people below 50 shouldn’t be screened for colorectal cancer.

American Cancer Society (ACS) is urging anyone under the age of 45 to get checked out when noticing symptoms. Moreover, the death of legendary Chadwick Boseman, because of the very same reason, was a wake-up call for many in the world, especially the black community. Given the fervent passion with which Deion Sanders follows the cause, he was just doing his part in spreading awareness.

Deion Sanders and his community

Since he transferred to CU from Jackson State, Coach Prime has commenced a revolution, to put it simply. Sanders has always taken the utmost pride in his ethnicity, and since then, there was no stopping him. Prime’s unapologetic personality has everyone’s attention shifted to the racism HBCU kids have to deal with every day.

“He is creating visibility that talent is talent,” Kenneth E. Johnson of Bear, Delaware said. “He quiets the naysayers by revolutionizing what a turnaround could be and his success is showcasing kids that HBCU kids can play on the big stage. I love when an underdog wins.” Hence, the suave with which he handles her persona is his very base for spreading awareness about the cause.
