EA College Football 25 is garnering all the attention of the fans. But for all the wrong reasons. First, it was Sheduer Sanders not getting included in the EA Sports College Football 25’s Deluxe edition cover. Now it seems that EA Sports might also ditch Jalen Milroe and Carson Beck, who originally featured in the deluxe edition of the CFB 25 cover, in the leaked standard cover of EA Sports College Football 25. The best part? It is not getting trolled because of that. The reason for that is rather the people who are featured in it.

Travis Hunter takes up the center, Texas QB Quinn Ewers stands at the left, and Michigan RB Donovan Edwards takes up the right side of the leaked standard cover. The animateness of their expressions was one thing that didn’t sit well with the fans. That was not all, however, as they flooded the comment section of the post on X with stating all the reasons why Hunter shouldn’t be on the cover. “Absolutely no reason for Colorado to be on this cover,” stated a fan.

Colorado’s infamous 4-8 record of the previous season was the root where their complaints were stemming from. Per them, Colorado didn’t give a ‘to be featured on EA Sports College Football 25 cover worthy’ performance. Surely, the previous season’s performance of the Buffs was a no-show but Hunter as a player did not fail to impress the NCAA, winning the Paul Hornung award in 2023. So much so that Hunter is even projected to be a top-10 pick in the 2025 NFL draft. Despite all this, the fans were not big fans of Hunter featuring on the cover of EA Sports’ new game.

How the fans reacted to Travis Hunter on the cover

The fans didn’t hold back on their sarcasm on Travis Hunter. Or Quinn Ewers. Or Donovan Edwards, for that matter. However, it was Hunter who bore the must burn. Although, along with him, Colorado and Deion Sanders too were not spared from the burning comments. “Colorado not even gonna win 5 games tho,” a fan stated, already assuming about their next season.

Deion Sanders and Shedeur Sanders were also dragged through the mud as another fan commented, “Damn, I bet Deion is pissed that Sheduer didn’t make it.” That was not all. The fans also had a problem with the animation of Hunter’s face on the cover. This fan had absolutely no filter as he stated, “Bro what has Quinn Evers done or Colorado?”

Other fans chipped in with their frustration with EA Sports as they turned up with this after all the years of wait. A fan commented on a suggestion saying, “Out of all the options, they chose this? They couldn’t have got a closeup of at least someone in a helmet?” What do you think about all the reactions? Drop your thoughts in the comments.
