Few would argue that Shedeur Sanders is not a “celebrity” figure. This time, the stamp of approval comes from the Colorado Buffaloes confidant, Uncle Neely, as he gave a character sketch of the quarterback on Thee Pregame Show Network. After multiple “au revoirs” that the transfer portal’s spring window resulted in, Deion Sanders and his son Shedeur were dragged through the mud. Up to this moment, Deion Sanders’ son was tagged as a “snob” for his millionaire lifestyle, but it’s time for a reality check. As the discussion dismisses the charge brought against Shedeur by a Buffaloes transfer, Shedeur has been serious about the upcoming season, which left an impression on his looks.

The Buffs’ quarterback has been a favorite target of Gavin Kuld, the ex-Colorado backup QB. Kuld brought allegations to have received silent treatment from Shedeur, the reason being Deion Sanders’ son’s millionaire status. Months later, Uncle Neely is here to expose what Shedeur is like.  “He’s friends with his teammates… hangs out with his line and receivers. You see him in the cafeteria around the building, you know he’s not some distant celebrity figure.” This is how the Colorado confidant portrayed an alternate narrative for Shedeur’s behavior.

Uncle Neely continued with his take on the Buffs’ QB, confirming that Shedeur was far from enjoying the status of being Deion Sanders’ son. He reportedly puts in due effort to add to the team’s growth. For this season, “He’s working out and strength and conditioning just as hard as anybody else is he’s not resting on.” Shedeur got serious about his looks not only with practice but also because “it’s a business year.”

Shedeur’s journey from braids to business

This season, the Colorado QB sensation will sport a fresh look. Earlier, the 22-year-old had been spotted flaunting twisted braids. But Shedeur now stands in favor of shorter, more “professional” haircuts. He cited the reason for him to chop it off, saying there’s a lot of riding on the upcoming season. On Reach the People Media, Shedeur’s nonchalant statement was: “C’mon man. This is a business year man. I handle business, stand on business; everything’s business bruh.”

Deion Sanders’ son was long associated with long hair. He flaunted it since his time at Jackson State, and he kept it as he followed his dad to Boulder in December 2022 and throughout the 2023 season. A shorter hairstyle is expected to make it easier for Shedeur to manage and devote less time to himself while concentrating on the practice.

Since Shedeur has a lot of unfinished business from last season, he is not alone in this challenge. Deion Sanders has set up a revamped offensive line for the best protection of the QB and the players will try their best to shield their best buddy.
