One of the most ostentatious events of the year, the LA Bowl, is just around the corner. The conclusive event of the 2023 FBS football season is expected to be a replica of the tumultuous roller-coaster of the 2023 season. As much of a memorable event as it will be for the PAC 12, given the conference’s highly uncertain future, the presence of Rob Gronkowski will make it even more enthralling.

The Pac-12 and Mountain West conference’s team-up has gained center stage since 2021 when Utah State defeated Oregon. Currently, the Mountain West is the reigning all-dominant conference in the history of the bowl, winning in each 2021 and 2022 season against Pac-12.

The nitty-gritty of LA Bowl 2023

This time around, however, stakes are high for Pac-12 as the highly celebrated 7-5 UCLA Bruins are facing the red-hot Mountain West champions, 8-5 Boise State Broncos. The $5.5 billion worth of So-Fi Stadium is preparing its ground to host the game on December 16.

Disney’s child company, ABC Networks, holds the broadcasting privileges for the game, which is set to commemorate at  4:30 p.m. PST/7:30 p.m. ET.

Rob Gronkowski: LA Bowl 2023 host

In October 2023, the LA Bowl signed a multi-year sponsorship deal with Rob Gronkowski, entitling the former NFL star a multi-year association with the Bowl. As per his deal, it is now the emcee Gronk’s responsibility to make the Bruins vs. Boise state as celebrant as possible.

Along with this, the Bowl also signed an additional naming rights partnership in December, with Starco Brand Inc., officially making the LA Bowl ‘Starco Brands LA Bowl Hosted By Gronk’.

Gronk’s plan for the day

Football is undeniably Gronk’s primary forte, but that doesn’t stop him from venturing into others. Gronkowski’s fascination with music was unveiled to the world when he appeared on ‘The Masked Singer‘. Although vocals might not be the best strengths of the 34-year-old, the New Directions Veterans Choir will be right beside him when he signs the National Anthem at the So-Fi Stadium.

The audience will be the best judge of his singing adroitness on the big day. However, you never know all the work Gronk might have put in the years to hone his vocals.

Robert Gronkowski’s special talents

Gronk is determined to steal the limelight again, not only with his singing and dancing, something that has aided him for 11 years but also with his signature drink, the Gronk Cooler.

The best part: the contents of the drink are not yet specified, making it another surprise for the spectators. However, fans have faith in Gronk, especially in his beverages, to get any party going.
