The NFL community just got to catch a breath now that the 2024 NFL is over. However, social media is now dealing with the 2025 mock draft. The latest Instagram post in which B/R Gridiron collaborated with Bleacher Report recently created waves over the internet. Among them is the Colorado Buffaloes quarterback sensation Shedeur Sanders, who is projected to be the 14th pick and will join hands with the Pittsburgh Steelers

Loopholes in Shedeur being the Steelers’ 14th pick

The caption of the Instagram post, “New generation of stars are loading,” is enough for the fans to start their countdown for next year. But from the thread dedicated to multiple players, they have been taken aback by the projection about Shedeur. The post shows that the Buffaloes quarterback will land in Pittsburgh Steelers. It has been going well this far, but what left the fans amazed was another prediction about Coach Prime’s son. According to the mock draft, it is believed that Shedeur will be the 14th pick.

Till now, no fan of college football is unaware of the quarterback’s projection. Shedeur was expected to enter this year’s NFL draft but postponed it until another year. He is believed to be the top pick in 2025. Even a pro personal director was specifically impressed by Shedeur and claimed that there is a shot that both Sanders and two-way standout Travis Hunter will be selected within the first five picks. This left the Buffs community raging in revolt.

Fans are not convinced about Shedeur’s forecast

More than the fact that fans have issues with Sanders landing up in the Steelers, it bothers them that Deion Sanders’ son will be the 14th pick. As pointed out by a fan, the calculation about Shedeur and Pittsburgh goes wrong in both ways as he justifies, “Steelers won’t be drafting at 14. And Shedeur Sanders is a top 3 pick.” The next big doubt is regarding questioning the need for the program for another quarterback while they already have drafted two, “The Steelers who just got Justin Fields AND Russell Wilson drafting Shedeur?” One of the fans commented in disbelief, why would he go to pittsburgh lol”

The draft also claims that James Pearce Jr. will be the No. 1 pick; this left a fan defending the projection, “First of All Travis Hunter is going #1 Overall.” If this forecast about the Buffs quarterback materializes into reality, a fan commented, “Sheduer to Steelers is crazy.”

Instead of Steelers, fans are rooting for Shedeur landing with the Dallas Cowboys, “Shedeur is a cowboy.” The probability game for the player’s next destination revolves around the New York Giants and the Dallas Cowboys, as pointed out by a fan, “Giants better draft shedeaur or Dallas better draft him.” So, the picture is somewhat clear that Shedeur’s projection does not convince the Colorado community in any way that the mock draft has been put forward.
