From his days at the IMG Academy to his collegiate endeavors, the quarterback’s success story is then given a shout-out by Moore. He ensured to never miss any of his achievements while acknowledging McCarthy’s journey. The coach makes McCarthy stand as a highly sought-after prospect for the NFL decision-makers.

Moore further reflected on McCarthy’s versatility, “I mean, you put on the film of J.J. McCarthy and you just see a winner. You see a guy that if asked to hand the ball off, he will. If asked to throw the ball and be accurate and throw it on time and scramble around, make plays, he can. He can make every type of throw – off-balance throw, anything you want, J.J. can do.” Interestingly, as the coach seems to be all enamored by the quarterback, the other way around is also true.

With the legacy left by legendary Harbaugh to carry, the newly appointed coach understands the environment of immense pressure within the Wolverines, too well. The former coach had set standards even higher for Michigan before leaving for Ann Arbor, just after securing a national championship. However, members who have witnessed Moore’s unwavering dedication are all confident about the new coach’s abilities.

Among his supporters is one of the program’s brightest stars, McCarthy, who voiced his belief in Moore’s talent to propel Michigan to future success. On speaking about the coach, McCarthy’s opinion went as, “The most important quality of a head coach at the University of Michigan is being a Michigan man and he’s got that. He’s earned his stripes and the boys love him, they’re behind him, and with those two things they’re gonna be successful no matter what.”
