As much of a nurturing father Deion Sanders may be, when he steps onto the practice field, he cannot afford to entertain the father-son relationship. As the head coach, he has the ultimate authority over the players’ future in the gameday, or Boulder. Slapping all the naysayers hard on the face, who have claimed Prime Time to be ‘favoring’ his sons, Deion Sanders has made a harsh move on his son Shilo Sanders in the recent practice day at Folsom Field.

In the video shared by Well Off Media, where the Buffs force is steadily doing drills, Shilo Sanders was repeatedly being warned for slackening in his drills. This ended up in the safety facing a lash of anger from his head coach Deion Sanders, who yelled, “Shilo! Get out! Go in the end-zone,” in front of all the Buffs members. It seems that Deion Sanders is taking nothing but the best of the preparation when it comes to the next season. The reason for it? Coach Prime’s fiery passion for redemption after their embarrassing 4-8 record last season.

Moreover, Deion Sanders is perfecting the flaws of every player, hence Shilo’s ejection. Earlier in the 2023 season as well, Shilo Sanders was ejected from the game against UCLA. Sanders administered a big hit on UCLA’s Carsen Ryan after Ryan caught a pass from quarterback Ethan Garbers. Sanders appeared to lead with his shoulder, but referees penalized the defensive back for targeting, leading to his disqualification mid-game. Despite this, Sanders finished with four solo tackles and a forced fumble.

The harshness that Prime is exhibiting on his sons is a means to perfect them for the pro league, as they prepare not only for the upcoming season but also for the NFL in 2025.

Shedeur Sanders on the 2025 NFL draft

Deion Sanders clarified at the beginning of the season why his sons were leaving to get into the NFL until one more year. Prime has been a vital part of Shedeur and Shilo’s college career. Hence, his sons stepping out of his supervision to take the reins of their career in their hands is a major point in each of their lives.

While Coach Prime might be facing the jitters for it, Shedeur Sanders is all geared up for the big move. “We definitely plan to play in your league the following year. We’re going into the Draft in 2025,” Sanders said to NFL Chief Marketing Officer Tim Ellis in Well Off Media’s video. Safe to say, as much as Sanders is anticipating the NFL, fans too are highly eager to witness the magic Shilo and Shedeur Sanders have to unfold.
