Uniqueness of Kyle Moretti

Coach Prime has set his sights on the linebacker from Michigan for quite some time. The 6-foot-2 player weighing 245 pounds has shot to the limelight after acquiring All-MAC selections twice. Moretti has amassed 207 tackles (116 solo) and 16.5 tackles for a loss, backed up by six sacks in his college career.

Prospects of Elijah Herring

Tennessee linebacker Elijah Herring, who led the Vols, is also entering the transfer portal. The player was hired as a backup to middle linebacker Keenan Pili. He had finished with 76 tackles (4 for a loss) and acquired a career-high of 8 against Alabama and UConn. The 6-foot-3, 230-pound native from Tennessee signed with the Volunteers as a three-star recruit.

Jermayne Lole and his talents

The notable 6-foot-3, 310-pound DL, Lole, is about to enter the transfer portal after one season at Louisville. He appeared in 12 games (nine starts) for the Arizona Cardinals. The former Arizona State standout immediately garnered NFL draft buzz as an interior pass rusher for a three-year run. Lole has previously played with Colorado defensive lineman B.J. Green at Arizona State, which brought the player to attention.

The versatility of Isaiah Raikes

Regarding the Buffs defensive line, Deion Sanders’ attention has also been toward the USC DL, Raikes. The 6-foot-2, 320-pound player shot to the limelight as he rotated as Texas A&M’s backup nose tackle last season. But he has outperformed as a backup, playing in all 12 games and finishing 17 tackles, which included three for a loss.

Andrew Chamblee’s USP

The 6-foot-6, 304-pound OL from Arkansas, Chamblee, is one of the most coveted linemen in the spring transfer portal. Based on speculation, he is expected to schedule a visit to Deion Sanders’ Colorado. He has made it to the All-SEC Freshman Team and has been a top-200 recruit out of high school. Besides, Chamblee is known for playing 405 snaps as a red-shirt freshman during the last season.

Besides the names mentioned above, a handful of other players might land up in Deion Sanders’ Colorado this spring. However, Coach Prime, just ahead of the transfer portal, has lost some gems, including defensive back Jaden Milliner-Jones and offensive tackle Savion Washington. In that case, the HC will be focusing on filling the empty positions. What are your thoughts about who will land up in the Buffs roster? Let your opinions pour in.
