It seems that the Raiders have finalized which road to go on in the first round on April 25, as the team is holding the final round of talks with their prospects. Per Alabama Touchdown, the franchise is going down the CB road, as Raiders’ head coach Antonio Pierce was spotted talking with Alabama CB Terrion Arnold. Hence, if the Raiders picked Arnold as their first-round 13th overall pick, it would not come as a surprise to fans.

And for Pierce, Arnold and his roster would be a match made in heaven. Getting their hands on the best collegiate CB from the draft of 2024 would be a thing of immense pride since the Raiders are in dire need of some young talent on their roster. That explains why Arnold has been on the hot list of raiders since day 1.

However much Pierce might be leaning toward Arnold, the Raiders’ talks with the CB cannot be perceived as the ultimatum, as the team has also been eyeing some elite-class QBs like Jayden Daniels and JJ McCarthy. If the Raiders decide to give up their No. 13 pick for a QB, then they would not get their hands on Arnold since several other teams are also waiting to get their hands on him. Arnold would simply not be available until round 2. So, Pierce would need to make his decision in the first round.

Arnold and Pierce look like a good fit as an athlete-coach from their preliminary talks. “He’s a guy full of energy,” Arnold said about Pierce at the NFL Combine. “When I walked in the room, he was like, ‘Are you an energetic person?’ I was like, ‘You know I am, man, put on the tape.’ He was like, ‘Man, I like you already.'” Energy or not, it seems that Arnold’s future will be highly dependent on one thing now; his Pro-Day scores.

Kristen Saban to Terrion Arnold’s support

Terrion Arnold’s only chance to shine for the last time at Tuscaloosa was on Wednesday, March 20th, on Alabama Pro-Day. While it will be a highly emotional moment for him, even more so as his former head coach Nick Saban won’t be there, Arnold will have someone special supporting him. Nick Saban’s daughter. The Sabans and Arnold share a special bond since Nick Saban has claimed that Arnold is like one of their “children.” Another reason for Kristen Saban’s presence is that it is highly important.

Kristen Saban reported that she would be present at the Pro-Day to support Arnold through X. The die-hard Crimson Tide fan said, “For the first time ever, I would be attending Pro-Day tomorrow to watch my brother Terrion Arnold. So grateful for his invitation and can’t wait for him to shine.”
