Travis Hunter’s fiancée, Leanna Lenee, has again come under the spotlight, but this time, the reason seems to be for a social cause. While Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes spend some off time prepping and gorging on their favorite food at Memorial Day Cookout, the Buffs’ two-way phenom’s fiancée has some bigger purpose.

For a change, Lenee’s Instagram story is not about picture-perfect beach holidays with Hunter by her side; instead, she honors the sacrifices of the veterans on the special day. Meanwhile, Lenee has some other thing to celebrate as Hunter gets a huge breakthrough in college football, beating his teammate, Shedeur Sanders.

Leanna Lenee’s journey from lavish gifts to heartfelt gestures

The latest post of Lenee does not show her enjoying luxurious holidays or pampering Travis Hunter with expensive gifts. This story had a clear purpose. Memorial Day, observed on the last Monday of May, May 27 this year, found Hunter’s fiancée in a different mood.  Lenee shared her respect for the lives claimed in the Civil War and paid tribute to the countless fallen soldiers. Sharing the post of Michael Harrison, the post read, “Home of the free because of the brave. We remember and honor our veterans.”

While fans often associate Lenee with Hunter, this time, she was the one who made a tribute post on Memorial Day while the Buffs’ players chose to remain silent. His fiancée has tried to work on her image since a few days back, she was held accountable for using Hunter’s money to buy him a $ 98k RAM TRX truck as a birthday gift. While Hunter remains noiseless, he must be basking on some of his latest achievements.

Hunter as the cover star

Even during the off-season, Travis Hunter secured another victory for Colorado. By becoming the sole face on the EA Sports College Football 25 cover, the Buffs’ star has ignited Heisman and national title discussions. As the video game cover was unveiled, Hunter was prominently featured alongside two other stars, including a national champion tailback and a standout quarterback.

Travis Hunter’s achievement is not just a personal triumph but a significant boost for the Buffaloes program. As Kevin Borba highlighted on the Locked on Buffs podcast, Deion Sanders’ program now has the opportunity to be seen as a powerhouse in college football, thanks to the rare honor of being featured on a video game cover. This is a major development for Colorado.

Hence, Travis Hunter is too busy to be the Buffs face and hardly gets any time to spend on social media. However, it can be said, on his behalf, that Leanna Lenee is doing the honors while paying tribute on Memorial Day.
