Alabama DB, Terrion Arnold, took advantage of one moment he found in the spotlight on Friday at the NFL scouting combine. After the game, he had an interview with NFL Network’s broadcast for Indianapolis, and he snatched the opportunity to directly speak to his mother, Tamala Arnold.
Terrion tallied 5 interceptions in the 14 games for Crimson Tide in 2023. He also ran a 40-yard sprint in 4.5 seconds and achieved a 37” vertical jump at the scouting combine. He is supposed to be the 15th pick in Indianapolis Colts. And he extended all the credit to his mother for all the things he has achieved.

Terrion Arnold thanks his biggest supporter
The interview saw the Alabama DB declare his love for his mother to the whole world. “Mom, if you’re watching this right now, your son just wants to say how proud he is of you. You had me at a young age, and you overcame a lot of adversity. People were doubting you; people were counting you out.”

He also went on to say that he knew his mother raised a star and then told the camera operator to zoom in even closer to look the ‘world’ in the eyes and say that his mother, Tamala, raised a fighter. He said, “I just want to say, Tamala Arnold, I love you. I’m right here, the whole world is watching. And I’m blessed to have you as a mom. Like I said, you overcame a lot. With that being said, I’m going to continue to keep shining, just how you raised me to be.”

Tamala would surely be proud of her son, who was projected as the first-round pick for the final draft of the NFL.
Arnold’s progress in the NFL draft
Along with an above average sprint and exceptional vertical jump, the 20-year-old, did a 10’9” broad jump and started the individual drills. However, the young DB was not satisfied with his performance and said, “I didn’t perform how I wanted to perform.”

He gave the reason for his dissatisfaction as well, stating, “Because I have high standards for myself.” Terrion Arnold is the first-team All-America selection and was selected by the Associated Press last season of the game. He had 63 total tackles in his sophomore season and deflected 12 passes.
He also received a message from Nick Saban’s wife before the combine. And that was not the first time as Arnold has received a message from her before each game he played last season. Terrion Arnold is definitely making everyone proud and raising the standards for other players as well.
