Deion Sanders’ charming persona reportedly came undone as the Colorado Buffaloes’ head coach became all stern with the players. Right before the Spring game, Coach Prime gave a rundown about the present situation on the players’ roster. It has been found that all the players lack attention and love for the program. Sanders addressed the players, expressing his disappointment, claiming their relationship with Colorado lacks love.

Coming from Coach Prime, it is often expected to be motivating and passionate. But this time, it is all about their beloved coach holding them up because of their lack of discipline.

How the Buffs student-athletes left Deion Sanders disappointed

The Buffs HC expressed how difficult it is to see the student-athletes exert their half-hearted effort. To explore more about the current situation, Sanders shared how the players are not giving their sincere efforts into the program: “I often have to repeat the same three and four times because student-athletes are present but not really in class. You present, but you ain’t really there. You on the field, but you ain’t doing nothing. You in a relationship, but you ain’t got no love.”

Earlier in his speech, Sanders revealed how lack of attention is the root of the problem. “I have never felt so disrespected in my 10 years of teaching. Students do not follow even minimally, and it slows down my class so much,” said the Buffs HC. Sanders derived from this that the players are only driven by their personal interest, raising his finger at NIL. A few days back, there had only been a lot of commotion during the practice, which left Coach Prime to take up the matter in his own hands.

Lack of focus prevails in Deion Sanders’ squad

As the Buffaloes’ defensive recruits hit the ground for a grueling training session, their attention seemed to be somewhere else. The video was captured by Coach Prime himself in a POV camera and showed how the players were left confused with the instructions. Exasperated with their lack focus, the coach called them out, saying, “Why are we having a problem with getting the call? Why are we having a problem? Why we talking?”

However, it did not take the players long to decipher where they were going wrong. One of them took the initiative to address Sanders’ question to find out what prevented them from understanding the command. Realizing their mistake, he said, “Nothing. They just got to listen.”

However, according to Deion Sanders’ recent session with the student-athletes, it does not seem that the problem has been resolved. It is time to see what action Coach Prime takes against them to bring back his Buff squad to action before the Spring games.
