Superfan Peggy Coppom is back at it again. The oldest and the most loyal fan that Colorado Buffaloes could ever have, 99-year-old Peggy has included herself in the “We Want JuJu” tribe. Since Julian Lewis is expected to replace Shedeur Sanders in 2025, CU’s Royal Lady can’t keep her calm.

But On3 host Josh Newberg left a reference for “Karen” with Peggy. Besides Newberg, the old lady’s message created a stir in a Nebraska fan. This left Deion Jr. to take up the role of safeguarding Peggy’s honor.

Comparing Buffs loyal Peggy to Nebraska fan Karen

Is Deion Sanders’ Colorado using Peggy as an effort to flip Lewis’ commitment from the USC Trojans to CU? At least the 99-year-old loyal’s video message says so where Coppom is seen addressing the five-star QB, “Juju I have been cheering for this Colorado Buffs team for 84 years and I’m getting tired of being a good loser. I would love to be a good winner. So come on out here and play for us and help us win.” It did not go well with the On3 host Newberg, as he dropped the video in his tweet with the caption, “When did KarenKeyLargo become a CU Buffs fan?”

With this, the host intended to refer to a woman who went viral for outlandish behavior. Newberg, in this instance, was then joined by Karen Key Largo, who happens to be a Nebraska fan. She commented attacking Deion Sanders only being interested in his two sons, “You Deion worshippers are the funniest people on X ..old Deion doesn’t give a damn about you or anyone else buff related except his 2 kids and Hunter. Get a clue Home Slice.” Then Deion Jr. decided to pitch in to be Peggy’s ultimate protector.

Deion Jr. becomes the shield for Peggy

While Newberg passed a mocking jab at Peggy by drawing parallels with Key Largo based on the similarity of physical appearance, Deion Jr. could take it no longer. Bucky then takes up the role of a protector, leaving an open threat for whoever puts Peggy in the question, “Never question Greatness. She’s actually CU Royalty.” His tweet was intended at things taking a serious turn.

Newberg’s mockery of Peggy had deeply hurt him. He then referenced Luke 23:34 from the Bible. “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing,” tweeted Deion Jr. Coppom, one-half of the famed CU twins with Betty Hoover, who passed away in 2020. The duo first appeared at last year’s Black and Gold Spring Game; hence, Peggy has been all alone.

But do not worry; Peggy has found her biggest companion, Deion Sanders Jr., who will try his best to cushion the 1966 ticket-holder from any attack. It’s hard not to soak up Peggy’s energy that she puts out into the world. Now it is to be seen whether she, with her energy, is able to melt Julian Lewis’ heart.
