As a highly-paid professional athlete, Mahomes has decided to divest his portfolio. He recently went on to purchase an ownership stake in a National Women’s Soccer League. Mahomes and his wife, Brittany shared their excitement and their thoughts about joining the ownership group. Furthermore, Brittany talked about the contribution Mahomes has by being a part of the ownership.

The Chiefs quarterback seems to be an enthusiastic supporter of all sports. He has recently made some interesting moves in terms of his investment in the Women’s Soccer League. The young QB recently took an ownership stake in the Kansas City Current of the NLSW, per KCRGTV.

Additionally, Brittany Mahomes co-founded the team and she was certainly ecstatic to have Mahomes on board. She expressed her excitement and said, “We are so thrilled to make this a family affair and have Patrick join as an owner.” Furthermore, she indicated that Mahomes has been very supportive from the beginning and said, “He has been a huge supporter behind-the-scenes. His passion for the Current is undeniable and I am glad that he will be with us as we continue on our journey to become the best in the NWSL.” Notably, it seems like the young QB is ready to jump into women’s soccer and go all out with his passion. Furthermore, even fans seem to be recognizing his enthusiasm.
