It has been a long time since both Peyton Manning and Denver Broncos have tasted success. However, the acquisition of Russell Wilson gives Broncos a fighting chance. The former Seahawks QB has all the credentials to take over the reins of a franchise that was drifting in recent seasons. Since their Super Bowl-winning season in 2015, the Broncos have not made the playoffs, and Manning is willing to do anything to change it.
During his appearance on the Rich Eisen Show, Manning was in conversation with guest host Ryan Leaf about Wilson joining the Broncos.

While talking about his roles, Manning states, “I have tried to be there as a resource for Russ if he has questions. I think Russell you figure out a lot of these things because of his preparation and attention to detail. But I have shared with him a couple of things that helped me in my transition and I have also shared that with the Broncos you know with coach Hackett…”
Wilson is among the kind of QBs whose growth might have no ceiling as he possesses a drive to evolve constantly. Coincidentally, he attended the Manning family’s legendary passing academy when he was only an up-and-coming athlete. While Manning has extreme competitive fire and an eye for detail, Wilson seems to share some aspects of his game.
Can Russell Wilson decode the Broncos jigsaw with Peyton Manning?

He notes that Denver was quite accommodating towards him when he joined them in 2012.
