Rodgers has recently broken up with his ex-fiancee, Shailene Woodley. The couple was together for about two years. And around that time, the Packers’ QB has found a lot of success in his career. He takes the opportunity on McAfee’s show to make a cute statement about his now ex-fiancee.

While explaining the concept to Pat McAfee, Rodgers said, “I also was telling [Shailene], you know I’ve been with you for two seasons and won two MVPs, like that’s not a coincidence either.” He adds, “I mean that you know when your home life is stable and you have an amazing partner to do life with, it just makes the work-life a bonus. And it changes the perspective, cause able to not look at work like a refugee. Like how much more fun can I have at work now, now that this stress of personal life stuff is out of there? How much more enjoyment can I get out of work? What areas can I focus on to enjoy more? The bus rides, the meeting rooms, times to put your phone away and enjoy the locker room conversations. I think that’s a huge part of it.”
