Though it is unclear how the accident occurred, the Ohio State Highway Patrol stated that Garett had a hazardous speeding record before the incident as well.

In the accident, his Porsche flipped, which resulted in a burst blood vessel in his left eye. As well as injuries to his shoulder and biceps. With a history of exceeding the speed limit, Myles Garrett stated on Friday that this incident was a wake-up call to drive more cautiously in the future.

How prepared were the Browns to face the Falcons without Garrett?

The Cleveland Browns began the NFL season with a victory over the Carolina Panthers on a last-second field goal. Following his 11-game ban, Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson has been suspended until November 4. Then, the presence of Myles Garrett, the pro defensive end, was also questionable for Sunday.

In his five seasons in the league, Myles Garrett has earned the title of one of the top defensive players. Also, he has been one of the league’s best pass rushers this season.

Garrett had missed practice for a week before the game. The Browns looked questionable in terms of their both defensive ends. The Browns thought of going with 29-year-old Jadeveon Clowney. However, he, too, acquired an ankle injury and sat out the week prior. The Browns lost to the Falcons (20-23) in the game on Sunday.
