In a presser, Tom Terrific spoke about what keeps him going at 45. Further, he shared his insights on how youngsters can produce a long career, like TB12. While there, he also touched upon his availability for the team.
“I think it is always important to have your goals, things you set out for. I remember talking to Drew (Drew Brees). He had an incredible career and was incredibly productive in the team. It is always nice to talk to different guys and gain different perspectives,” the 45-year-old said.

“Obviously, what Patrick has done in his young career is nothing short of exceptional. So you know I have been very fortunate, with amazing support from the team,” the seven-time Super Bowl winner added.
The NFL legend also lauded the support staff and the Bucs teammates for constant care. “All the work with Alex to prepare my body and keep me mentally active. The challenge becomes a little harder. But these are small responsibilities in your life. So it is about navigating these things and trying to give your best,” he pointed out.
The future HOFer also added what he aims at while playing for the Buccaneers. “I have always tried to be a dependable and consistent player for the team. Try to show up every day and do a good job for the team,” concluded the legend.

NFL stars who played in their 40s
Former Oakland Raiders star, George Blanda, is the oldest to play in the history of the NFL. He played 26 seasons as a quarterback and placekicker. Blanda retired in 1975 when he was 48 years old.
