Was Brady’s ‘unsportsmanlike’ behavior to blame for the brutal penalty?

Atlanta Falcons defensive end Grady Jarrett sacked Brady in the fourth quarter. But, the questionable whistle flagged Jarret for roughing the passer, giving the Bucs a new set of downs to celebrate their victory over the Falcons.

While discussing the controversial call made by the head referee, Jerome Boger, Smith also expressed his displeasure with Brady’s behavior after being sacked on the ground.

Tom Brady continued his history of kicking opponents

Smith, true to his reputation, spoke openly on Monday about his thoughts on his longtime NFL idol- “….I’m pretty damn ashamed of Tom Brady, too. Tom Brady looked at the ref and was looking for a call. ‘Where’s the call?’ I know, win at all costs.”

“What are you looking at the referee for? You’re Tom Brady, you’re a seven-time champion. You know what kind of things you’ve endured throughout these years in the league. What the hell are you looking at the official to make a call on that play?” Smith clearly had an ‘anti-fan’ moment on Sunday.

Brady’s aggressiveness with his legs is nothing new. The former Patriots quarterback had previously kicked his Ravens‘ opponent, for which he was fined $10,000. While Brady does not throw fags, he can certainly throw his legs to his opponents on the turf- As he did twice on Sunday at the Raymond James!
