The Sunday Night Football game between these two of the best quarterbacks in the NFL drew a lot of enthusiasm and intensity from the viewers, as usual. However, it resulted in a 14-12 victory for the Packers.

Aaron Rodgers defeated Tom Brady for the second time in his NFL career

Tom Brady’s retirement announcement earlier this year sparked a flurry of headlines and news. But he opted to return to the NFL for at least one more season. This resulted in ‘a lot of sh*t’ in his personal life.

Naturally, Brady is likely to opt for a permanent retirement following the current NFL season. In that case, Sunday possibly was his last faceoff against Rodgers.

When the NFL world expected to see some remarkable on-field Brady wizardry, he couldn’t do ‘better’ this time. Though towards the end, Brady attempted to tie the game with a quick pass intended for Russel Gage, Packers‘ linebacker De’Vondre Campbell intercepted the pass to score a 2-point conversion.

The Sunday game did not measure up to the fans’ expectations after all

At Raymond James Stadium, neither Brady nor Rodgers lead their teams. The Packers’ victory was truly a collective effort. TB12 passed for 271 yards while getting sacked three times.

Rodgers, on the other side, passed for 255 yards and two touchdown passes in the first half. The Buccaneers‘ defense tightened up in the second half, limiting Rodgers to 84 yards and a single interception.

“In the second half we had a lot of opportunities, but we had negative-yardage plays, we had penalties, and had a turnover,” Rodgers quoted. “We have to tighten some things up a little bit. But when our defense is holding them to 12 points, we’re going to win probably all of those games.”

The audience will hardly remember the Sunday game for a spectacular Brady-Rodgers duel. Even Tom Brady appeared off following their first loss of the season, to the Green Bay Packers.

In the 4th week of the National Football League, the Buccaneers will tackle the Kansas City Chiefs in a high-voltage match on Sunday. Fans will expect that Brady & Co. will return to their winning ways through better performance. However, the Chiefs will be hungry for a win after the unexpected loss in GW 3. Hence, it might prove to be an uphill task for the Bucs to sail through the upcoming obstacles.
