The NFL quarterback carousel is rotating at full speed right now. Carson Wentz, Matthew Stafford, and Jared Goff are a few of the top quarterbacks to have switched teams in the offseason. The likes of Deshaun Watson, Sam Darnold, Derek Carr, and Matt Ryan could follow in the coming weeks.
Two other prominent shot-callers who can switch teams in the coming weeks are the Seattle Seahawks’ Russell Wilson and free agent Dak Prescott.
Wilson had a terrific individual season in 2020, throwing for 4,200+ yards with 31+ passing touchdowns. However, Prescott suffered a nasty double compound fracture on his right ankle in Week 5, which ruled him out for the rest of the season.

Dak was playing on a $31.4 million franchise tag in 2020. He is yet to agree to a multi-year contract extension with his former employers.
But with Wilson reportedly open to moving away from the Seahawks, the Cowboys could turn their attention elsewhere.

Popular American television producer Kevin Wildes made a guest appearance on FOX Sports’, First Things First on Monday. He went on to comment about the Cowboys’ treatment of Dak Prescott in the build-up to the 2021 NFL season.
He said, “The Cowboys are handling this perfectly… We know they love Dak and just want to support him. Well, every other team out there is trying to alienate their quarterback.

“Like this is not the upgrade that I think, you know, just on paper that I was shocked to see this number. I don’t think it’s as big as an upgrade as I think the media wants to make you think it is,” Wildes said on the show.
Prior to his injury, Prescott had thrown for 1,856 yards with 9 passing touchdowns. He was on track to break Peyton Manning’s single-season passing yards record (5,477 in 2013).
