Analyst Names Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys and Pittsburgh Steelers as the Teams That Represent USA

In just 24 hours, the United States of America is set to celebrate its Independence day. In light of this, NFL analyst, Colin Cowherd named who he thinks are the teams that best represent America. He named the likes of the Dallas Cowboys, Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Of course, that does not mean that the other NFL franchises don’t represent America. However, these teams in particular, practically embody what it truly means to be American. Some may think that these NFL teams have to be beloved and a favourite among all Americans.

Which NFL teams are truly the All-American teams?

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys have been the most popular team, at least according to social media. Although they are fond of tradition, the team has continued to evolve and appeal to different generations. In fact, out of the nine most-watched NFL games, 6 of them were Cowboys games.

However, the Cowboys have been far from successful, and never lifted a Super Bowl since 1995. Admittedly, the NFL team has been highly underwhelming in the last decade. In spite of their lack of results on the field, there are still millions of fans who love and support them through thick and thin. So, this does beg the question, do the Cowboys deserve the title of America’s team?

Green Bay Packers

According to Cowherd, the Packers are the 146th biggest market in the United States. In addition to that, they are the only publicly-owned American franchise. The city of Green Bay also has the smallest market in terms of the big 4 American sports.

Pittsburgh Steelers

As it turns out, the Steelers have more fans turn up to away games compared to any other franchise. The Steelers are even tied for the most Super Bowl wins of all-time. Some say that the team caters to the working-class people of Pittsburgh.
