Buccaneers QB Tom Brady has had a good relationship with his dad, who supported all of his dreams since he was a kid. Brady wanted to start as a baseball player but went on to become the greatest quarterback in the NFL. The GOAT has often become emotional while sharing his relationship with his father.

Tom Brady revealed in a 2019 interview with Men’s Health, “Jack is just like me. He holds a lot. He wants to try hard, and he never wants to disappoint his dad. That was me. I’d wake up early on weekends to go do stuff with my dad. That’s why I didn’t party a lot. If dad wanted to golf, I wanted to be there with him. And if I ever missed those things, it would crush me.”

Brady sees Jack as his younger self who always wanted to be with his father no matter what. Tom and Jack have been spotted playing basketball and football many times. Also, Jack has a keen interest in football and is following in his father’s footsteps.

What does Tom Brady think of Jack’s future in football?

Brady while speaking on his son’s future in football said, “I would never want for them to be Tom Brady’s son playing football. I don’t like that at all. But from a team camaraderie discipline, I think there’s something about contact sports that teaches you a lot about discipline, respect, mutual respect for your opponent that you don’t get in non-contact sports.”

John ‘Jack’ Edward is 14 years old and is the eldest son of Tom Brady from his past relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan. Brady and Moynahan broke up in 2006 and learned later that she was pregnant with Brady’s child. The QB had already moved to a new relationship with Gisele Bündchen by then.

Bündchen, in her book ‘My Path to a Meaningful Life’ recalled it to be one of the toughest times when she got to know Moynahan was pregnant with Brady’s child. Brady and Bündchen got married in 2009 and share two kids, Benjamin and Vivian.
