And no one personifies this spirit better than Patrick Mahomes right now. The winning Kansas City Chiefs QB made a grand appearance at the much-awaited ring ceremony for the KC Chiefs. While he was there, he definitely seemed to be enjoying himself while speaking to reporters and his teammates. However, he did make a declaration that truly proved that he has the rare Mamba mentality.

He went on to speak to the press in a cordial manner and revealed to his fans and haters alike that he already had a set goal and a mentality ready for the upcoming year. He made his goals as well as the team’s goals very evident to everyone present there.

While talking to a reporter, Mahomes answered a question that spoke about the upcoming year. The QB was crystal clear on his upcoming goal as well as his wishes for his team. He mentioned the kind of motivation he has to go hard in the upcoming season to make another championship run. The QB reiterated this and said, “All the guys we’re going to celebrate but now after tonight we’re gonna celebrate again tonight. But after tonight we’re going to get it rolling again and try to make sure we’re ready to go for this next championship run.”

Mahomes made it clear that he was ready to go hard with the partying on the night of the actual ring ceremony. However, he was ready to go at it after the celebrations of the previous year were over. He seemed to be emulating the same hunger he had at the start of last season. And the whole of the NFL knows how that turned out.

Mahomes’ Wrath in 2022

During the regular season of 2022, the QB was an absolute force on the field. Throughout the season, he threw for a whopping 5,250 yards with an average of 308.8 yards per game. Furthermore, the QB also threw for a massive 41 touchdowns throughout the season with an insane average of 6.3 touchdowns. Moreover, during the postseason, in the playoffs, the QB threw for 703 yards with 7 touchdowns. He also had just one fumble throughout the postseason with no interceptions throughout the playoffs.

All in all, Mahomes was an absolute beast with the way he played against each and every team he faced. And with the way he declared his intentions for the upcoming season, he seems to be itching to repeat the same in the upcoming year. The only question that remains is that will he be able to showcase such success once more.
