Tom Brady has had multiple monikers throughout his 22-year rampage in the NFL. Many see him as the GOAT, the comeback kid, the Pharaoh, and Tampa Tom. But back in the day, Brady was the real king when it came to hitting a clapback. The current Buccaneers quarterback once dunked on a sassy Instagram user who tried to build a mockery of him.

The moment happened when Richard Sherman sent a note to the Seattle Seahawks on social media after signing with the Niners. In a gracious Instagram post, the athlete thanked his former teammates and the 12s for their support. Then-Patriots QB Tom Brady gave out some words of encouragement to the athlete.

However, as per BroBible, a random Niners enthusiast sneaked into the comment section to make a troll out of TB12. The user mentioned, “[Tom Brady] didn’t he intercept you a billion times.” But the NFL’s premier quarterback dunked him on as he clapped back with legitimate statistics in just 20 seconds. Brady replied, “just once.”

Nevertheless, Tom Brady had a moment when he became like the satirical rapper Supa Hot Fire. The GIF of the ultimate rap battle win fits perfectly to show how the moment would be after he made the facts straight.

Believe it or not, Tom Brady is the leading contributor in football history. His seven championships are commendable, but he transformed a planless team and brought them back into scoring ability. Without Brady, the Buccaneers would never have gotten Rob Gronkowski, Antonio Brown, Richard Sherman, and more.

The Super Bowl XLIX matchup was a crazy and bumpy ride for the Patriots and the Seahawks. It was the same time when Richard Sherman turned into a legendary meme. But there was an iconic moment when Sherman came to applaud Brady after he lowered his knees and absorbed the moment after the Patriots’ Super Bowl win. That image remains an iconic one to date.

Sherman reflects on that occasion in EP six of Brady’s ESPN docuseries, Man In The Arena. He mentioned“I have a tremendous amount of respect for the man, the player… It wasn’t like — you know, something crazy did happen, but it was like, they won it fair and square. So you shake the man’s hand and you walk away. And that’s what I did.” Even though Uncle Sherm is off to a new job, he and TB12 gave every NFL fan a moment to cherish forever.
