The Ravens do not have their best QB starting right now. Lamar Jackson has been out with a knee injury since Week 13. Furthermore, Tyler Huntley has been starting in Jackson’s place, and needless to say, the Ravens’ fans don’t like it. Huntley has not had the most steady start as QB, losing games against the Browns and most recently, against the Steelers.

Huntley threw for a meager 130 yards, one touchdown with one interception. The fans, not happy with the Ravens tarnishing their record, want to see Jackson back in play. While Jackson, still on a rookie contract, has won the heart of the fans with his play. With the way he performs, there are many fans who believe that Jackson is grossly underpaid. And after the loss against the Steelers, fans were quick to remind the Ravens that Jackson needs to be paid.

Should Jackson go get paid?

While the Ravens fans are convinced that Jackson should be getting paid more, there are certain people who do not believe so. Former NFL quarterback, and FOX analyst, Michael Vick, had spoken about Lamar Jackson’s payments and how it might be detrimental for him to get paid more. Vick mentioned Super Bowl and playoff chances in reference to how much an organization decides to pay him.

The reactions on Twitter after the embarrassing loss against the Steelers made that very clear. The question remains if Jackson will get paid more by the Ravens or will he take his talents elsewhere?
