Missed opportunities and referee blaming
During his post-game interview after the Packers’ loss, Rodgers spoke about different opportunities that he and his team missed. He first spoke about his own flaws and the number of throws he missed. The quarterback readily accepted the responsibility for the errors he had committed and said, “I mean I missed a couple throws for sure I’m not sure exactly which ones you’re talking about but I definitely missed a couple throws.”
The quarterback also spoke about the opportunities the team missed. He mentioned how they could’ve capitalized on the opportunity and failed to do and said, “us not capitalizing on a couple opportunities like Keisean’s return there getting points there obviously hurt us but we just never could kind of get over that hump and get the ball back.” The Packers QB also spoke about how there might have been a lack of flags given to them by the referee and that would’ve had an impact as well. However, even in loss, Rodgers showed composure and grace and did give credit where credit was due. What remains to be seen is how well the Packers can play the rest of the season.
