AFC South leaders Tennessee Titans last night notched up yet another victory. The 34-31 victory over Indianapolis Colts now takes them to the top of their divisional standing with an impressive 6-2 record. Unfortunately, their victory against the Colts came at a huge price, and it’s Derrick Henry.
During last night’s game, Titans’ two-time NFL rushing title winner Derrick Henry suffered a serious foot injury. If reports are to be believed, this injury might mark the end of his season. If Henry is out for the season, the Titans will have to put together a herculean effort to replace his contributions in the offense.

Derrick Henry has been incredible for the Titans in 2021
Given Derrick Henry’s importance to the Titans offense, a serious injury might be curtains for their Super Bowl dreams. In 2021, the RB has tallied an insane 937 running yards on 219 runs with 10 touchdowns. His numbers are twice the next best record, which is Nick Chubb with 584 yards.
Henry, who has 3,567 running yards and 33 rushing touchdowns in 31 games over the previous two years, has won the last two NFL rushing titles. Moreover, he also compiled an astonishing 2,027 rushing yards last season to rank seventh in all-time rankings. Missing out on a player like Henry who loves breaking records for fun will be a big blow for the Titans.
