Broncos Legend Goes on Epic Rant About Russell Wilson on Live TV: “He Came in and Said, I’m Russell Wilson and You’re Not”

The Denver Broncos signed Russell Wilson this offseason with the expectation of bringing back some smiles for the fans. Instead, Russ ended up providing everyone with lots of laughter. During the team’s eight-hour flight to London, Russell Wilson was doing high knees up and down the aisles while his Broncos teammates were sleeping because he doesn’t get jet-lagged.

Yes! It is what Russell Wilson claimed in one of his recent interviews. He may have wished to demonstrate the superhuman talents of the man in his mirror. However, he had no clue this would create such a bad buzz and even irritate an ex-Broncos legend, who lambasted him for his show-off act.

While reacting to Russell Wilson blowing his own trumpet, Shannon Sharpe, who is an ex-Broncos himself, was asked about the suggestions that Sharpe would have given Russ if he was in the Broncos locker room.

Wilson’s bragging perhaps displeased Sharpe, and the question turned out to be a flash that lit him up with rage. Sharp said, “…You see the problem that Russ has is that he never tried to ingratiate himself with his teammates. He came in and said, I’m Russell Wilson and you’re not.”

Wilson’s performance this season has been exceedingly uneven, according to Sharpe. He put in a lot of effort during this NFL season. According to Sharpe, he would have confronted Wilson if he had seen him in some absurd behavior, as Wilson himself claimed. Shannon Sharpe even wants Russell Wilson’s teammates to reach up to him and show him the joke that Russ is making of himself.

Though Russell took this criticism in a lighter mood, making a cryptic remark in one of his recent tweets. Wilson, at the moment, shall try to save himself from his own swank and look forward to a tough NFL season ahead for the Broncos.
