“We weren’t good enough. I was not good enough. I got to do a better job. It’s plain and simple. I didn’t play very good tonight. I know that, understand that.

“This team can’t afford to have me play poorly. Early on, just not being as accurate with the ball as I should have been, making the right reads, making the right throws. We turned it on a little too late there, obviously,” Allen told the team’s official website.

Allen claims to be ‘super-frustrated’ in himself

Allen threw for 122 yards with 2 passing TDs and 1 interception to his name. He completed 14 of his 27 attempted passes on Monday night. But he was the first to acknowledge that he wasn’t good enough in Week 6.

He said, “You know, 16 and 17 points is not going to cut it in this league. It didn’t matter who we played tonight. If that’s how we play, we’re going to struggle to win games. It is what it is right now. We’ll learn from this.

The Bills will look to bounce back this weekend as they play the New York Jets away at the MetLife Stadium in Week 7. Allen will definitely want to add to the team’s win tally after slumping to a 4-2 record in six weeks.
