Former San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick was again in the headlines following a recent influx of conflicting reports. The former Super Bowl finalist showed interest in investing in Hollywood actor and rapper Ice Cube’s basketball league (BIG3 league). The initial reports claimed Kaepernick was close to confirming investments.
The news was initially made public by NBA Insider Shams Charania while talking about the Niners QB as a potential investor for the 3 vs. 3 basketball league. On Thursday, according to TMZ Sports, a representative from Kaepernick’s team declared those claims false. The league was initially launched in 2017 by the rap icon and was reportedly on the verge of closing down.

While the reasons for linking Kaepernick remain unknown, the former Niners QB appears working for a return to the NFL.
Is the door to return to the NFL firmly shut for Colin Kaepernick?

However, the comments swiftly faced denial from Kaepernick’s agent Jeff Nalley. He referred Sapp to talk with the Las Vegas Raiders coaches and general manager.
