Colin Kaepernick did not part ways with the San Francisco 49ers on good terms. After being drafted in 2011 as the 36th pick overall, the quarterback lasted just about six seasons in the league before being snubbed as a free agent. While he was bidding a tearful adieu to San Fran, he had to sell his valuable abode in the Bay Area, yet he incurred decent profit from it.

According to Los Angeles Times, the 4,600-square-foot house was originally built in 1999. The 49ers signal-caller extensively renewed and remodeled the property during his stay in Bay Area. Kaepernick bought the estate for a whopping $2.7 million in 2014 as per the records.

The mansion features some stunning details like “custom front doors, a wall aquarium in the foyer, and a second-story sitting area with a glass-bottom floor.” Furthermore, the house also has a “living room with a fireplace, a chef’s kitchen, an office/den, four bedrooms, and 5.5 bathrooms round out the living spaces. There’s also a paneled lounge/game room featuring a leather-wrapped bar.”

The estate has a covered pavilion and a swimming pool with a spa outside surrounded by a fence. And the view of the city lights, a magnificent valley, and the surrounding marvel of the mountains is as breathtaking as it gets.
