However, this time, the Jets were saddened by a rather mundane reason.

During his OTAs, Rodgers spoke about how he might have tweaked his leg. After Rodgers spoke about his injury, the reactions from fans were blown out of proportion. However, after a video of his recently went viral, fans were totally enamored with his style of play.

The comeback of Aaron Rodgers

During a practice session, Rodgers had reportedly felt a tweak in his leg. Upon further examination, the QB revealed that he had a mild calf strain. While the injury wasn’t too serious, there was a lot of uproar from fans regarding the quarterback’s playable status. However, there was reassurance from the coaching staff about Rodgers’ playing status and very recently he proved it.

The Jets Instagram account posted a video of the QB slinging a long pass to one of his receivers. The video was in slow motion with a beautiful spin on the ball. Rodgers’ throw showed why he was still such a sought-after talent. Interestingly, Rodgers was wearing a very peculiar helmet as he slung the pass across the field.

Fans go crazy over Rodgers’ spinning throw

As the video of his perfect throw went viral, fans went on to comment on the video. They went on to comment on the throw as well as his uniform. One fan went on to talk about the QB’s helmet and said, “Pretty ass spiral. His helmet looks so goofy tho.”

There were also comments about how the throw was the most perfect one from a Jets QB and said, “That may be the most perfect spiral thrown by a Jets QB in history.”

Another fan went on to comment on the helmet and said, “Why is his helmet so damn big?”

However, a Packers fan commented on the video with a negative word that said, “As a Packers fan, I’ll tell u all u Jets fans this, don’t get ur hopes up. He always looks great but folds when it counts.”

Finally, one fan said something beautiful had happened and said, “That ball was just… damn never seen something more beautiful in my life.”

All in all, Rodgers’ throw got a lot of traction from fans. All the doubts that had been raised when Rodgers had told that he was injured, seemed to have disappeared.

While fans were enamored by the throw, this is still in practice. Only time will tell if Rodgers’ practice skills will materialize for the Jets on the field.
