Despite Personal Grudge Against 49ers, Tom Brady Couldn’t Help but Channel His Inner Kid While in Levi’s Stadium

The NFL GOAT and his team faced the powerful San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Fans saw the 45-year-old Tom Brady struggle on the field when he threw a terrible touchdown and an unimpressive pick. But the game probably brought tons of realization for the oldest playing QB in the league. Even though his forever favorite team hurt him badly, he still showed the purest form of appreciation when he was seen at Levi’s Stadium.
The official account of the NFL shared a video where TB12 stopped to snap pictures of his childhood team. There were several pictures and memorabilia of the SF 49ers which caught and attention. The elite QB could not move away from the iconic pictures.

Brady is a San Mateo native and has always credited the San Francisco 49ers to spark his passion for football. His idol and the player he loved the most was Joe Montana. Thus, the 15x Pro Bowl selection always wanted to sign with the 49ers.
But fate wanted something else. After playing for the New England Patriots for 23 seasons, he wanted to sign with San Francisco as a free agent in 2020. Once again, even that wish of his did not come true. Therefore, what could have been a revenge game, turned into something more surreal for the star QB.
Tom Brady faced the most sentimental blowout against the 49ers
The greatest of the NFL has to face the most disturbing loss against a player who was half his age. It was a heavy homecoming game where the fate of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was already decided halfway through the game. In the 35-7loss, fans saw a distraught Tom Brady still trying to compete in an unsalvageable matchup.

As everybody knows, the devil works hard, but Touchdown Tom works harder till the last second to turn the game around. Fans saw this last week against the New Orleans Saints when Tampa Tom threw two touchdowns to win over his rival. Even though the Pewter Pirates are 6-7, they still ram first in the NFC South division and can name another playoff appearance.

Howbeit, there was something different about this game. It was not the mediocre plays that he made but the fact that the seven-time Super Bowl champ’s age was showing its effect on his game. The 22-year-old Brock Purdy appeared as a foil to Brady. Young Purdy, along with playing very well in his second NFL game, has an even better origin story than his older counterpart.

The team pulled Purdy out of the game in the fourth quarter so that he could get rest well for his next game. However, the greatest of the sport played till the last snap. Many consider Tom Terrific a superhuman, although this game made him more human than any other.
