The QB recently went on to face a leg injury during an OTA practice session. Since then, the media as well as the fans have been concerned about the QB. However, the HC of the Jets, Robert Saleh made it clear that the QB is in good hands and is recovering.

How exactly is Aaron Rodgers recovering?

Robert Saleh took to a press conference to address all the concerns about Rodgers’ injury. Reportedly, the QB had gone on to ‘tweak’ his calf a few days ago during practice. However, the HC first made it clear that there is nothing too serious going on with Rodgers’ leg. Additionally, he also mentioned that the team has decided on a course of action for the QB’s leg and the procedures further.

Saleh mentioned exercise and recovery. He also said, “He’s fine uh just doing a bunch of rehab. He’ll be limited today and then uh just hoping to ease him back in.” Interestingly, Saleh also put some sleeping dogs to rest when he reaffirmed the coaching staff’s belief in Rodgers’ health.

Saleh also made it clear that the coaching staff is going to be clearer with their expectations from their players in terms of how they will be taking care of themselves. The coach emphasized the different kinds of stretches and body activations they will be focusing on to ensure the QB’s health.

All in all, the coaching staff doesn’t seem too worried about their quarterback’s injury. Saleh has made it clear that they have a handle on things. It only remains to be seen how injury trouble will affect the Jets in the upcoming season.
