While the Cowboys did not make it past the playoffs, Prescott has made an appearance at the Super Bowl. He came to receive the prestigious Walter Manning Player of the Year award. The WMPOY award is essentially an award that recognizes an individual’s contribution to the field of philanthropy. Furthermore, it also recognized the contribution a player has made on the field.

However, as Prescott went on to receive his award, he faced boos rather than cheers from the fans. Interestingly, the fans consisted of Philly fans. Philly fans are notorious for upholding their rivalry against the Cowboys and it supposedly extends to the players during an award ceremony.
