Eagles Player Jason Kelce Talks Who Is To Blame For Philadelphia Eagles’ Poor Form

The Philadelphia Eagles have had a very poor season this year. The Eagles are currently 3-8 this season. And now look set to miss the playoffs, just three years after winning the Super Bowl in 2018. Much of the blame for the Eagles’ poor run has been thrown to star quarterback Carson Wentz.
However, one of his teammates doesn’t believe it is entirely Wentz’s fault. Jason Kelce of the Philadelphia Eagles delivered a scathing interview criticizing the entire team for the way they have been playing. He believes that the whole team is to blame, not just Wentz. “Whenever you’re this bad, it’s never just one person. It’s never just one position group, and it’s never just players, coaches, and front office. It’s everybody and that’s the reality.”
He added that it is unfair for Wentz to take all the blame for their poor form. “Carson has, unfortunately, not played well, so these are the situations that happen, but you feel bad that he’s the sole one taking the hit right now.”

Kelce went on to say that the whole team, especially the offensive unit of the team must take responsibility for how they’ve played. He also believes that Wentz knows it isn’t just his fault.

“Obviously, the entire offense has been terrible. The offensive line, running backs, receivers, coaches. You aren’t this bad unless everybody shares blame in this whole thing. I think everybody here knows that. I know that Carson knows that, that this is not just him.”
Kelce emphasized on the importance of the Eagles improving their form. He believes that there must be changes made in the way they play because the current blueprint isn’t working. “We’ve got to do something. We’ve got to try to spark some sort of difference. You can’t keep doing the same thing and expect it to get and we just haven’t been able to do it.”

Kelce doubled down on his criticism of the team, primarily the offensive line. He is astounded at the way the Eagles have played. “It’s hard to believe we’re at this point now, to be honest with you. The season has not gone the way any of us anticipated or would have liked to have gone, but sitting here 3-8-1 you’ve got to try to make a change. Obviously, the offense has been absolutely terrible, the last four weeks in particular.”
It remains to be seen if the Eagles can improve their form before the end of the season. While a playoff spot isn’t up for grabs, the Eagles must play for pride in their remaining fixtures.
