“Every One of Them’s Gotten Cussed Out, Including Him”: Bruce Arians Gets Candid on Tom Brady Rift Stories

Former Tampa Bay Buccaneers head coach Bruce Arians have a unique and unforgiving relationship with quarterback Tom Brady among other players. The speculations about a rift between the head coach and Brady did gain more momentum as he announced he was stepping down from his position. The Super Bowl-winning head coach will now be working within the Buccaneers’ front office.
On Wednesday, during his farewell press conference, Arians were open to the media to address all the rumors about his surprising retirement. The return of Brady was followed by Arians deciding to retire did show a pattern to the Buccaneers fans and media who were skeptical about the situation.

During the presser, he does address the combative relationship between him and every player of the franchise, including Brady.
While focussing on his relationship with Brady, Arians states, “We have a great relationship. I mean, all of the players — there are a few of them here — every one of them’s gotten cussed out, including him. So that’s just part of me, you know? That’s nothing new, but we have a great relationship.” He adds that he and Brady were always on the phone texting about each other’s whereabouts.

Arians also calls out all the fake news surrounding his differences with Brady and believes the media is creating narratives. Following his decision to step down, even his 7-time Super Bowl-winning QB was all praises for his former head coach. Brady, via an Instagram thank you post, was showering praise on Arians for his tough-love style of coaching.

With Arians departing, the Buccaneers will have to move on with coach Bowles’ plans for this roster.
