Bill Belichick is famously known as one of the best coaches to ever coach a team in the NFL. Coupled with the winningest quarterback, Tom Brady, Belichick has been able to cement a beautiful legacy of 6 Super Bowl wins. The brilliant scheming of Bill Belichick

In 2017, The Falcons were ready to face the glorious Brady-led Patriots. They had a brilliantly popular wide receiver in Julio Jones who had performed really well. All in all, they looked menacing in terms of their ability to beat a team like the Patriots. However, Belichick seemingly had a plan to contain the WR.

While on ‘The Herd Show’, Ryan spoke about how Belichick and the entire coaching staff planned to deal with Jones. Belichick had been made aware of the WR having an injured ankle that had been bothering him. Keeping that in mind, Ryan explained Belichick’s game plan.

He said, “I remember he had a bad ankle or a bad foot going into that season or during that season. And he was managing his practices and his practice though they were saying he’s not practiced that many days because of his foot. So we went into the game plan in Atlanta shadowing him to his good foot. Meaning that he can only make breaks off his right foot so when he’s on this side of the formation we’ll cover these routes not thinking that he can break off his other foot as efficiently.”
