Aaron Rodgers is yet to make a statement about his future. The Green Bay Packers quarterback made waves in the NFL world when news emerged that he wanted to leave the Packers.
His relationship with the franchise has been strained for quite some time now. And it appears the Packers using their draft pick to select Jordan Love, his replacement quarterback, was the final straw.
Former NFL player Marcus Spears spoke on ESPN about Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. He believes that the Packers should explore their options right now.

If Rodgers doesn’t return, they may not find it easy to play Jordan Love as starting quarterback. However, someone like Blake Bortles, who has experience of being a quarterback in the NFL, can offer a temporary solution to the Packers.
NFL Analyst Paints a Nightmare Scenario for Green Bay Packers in Week 1 Clash Versus the Saints
“Look, by no means am I saying Blake Bortles or Benkert is the answer in Green Bay. But they could be a stop-gap if you drafted a guy that disgruntled your Hall of Famer and he doesn’t show that he is ready to take control or play within this offense.
“At least Blake Bortles has snaps in the NFL. This is a dire situation for the Green Bay Packers.”
Aaron Rodgers not returning to Green Bay?
Spears added that the Packers should be worried about Rodgers. He doesn’t believe that Rodgers will wear a Green Bay Packers jersey ever again.
However, in that scenario, their greater concern will be Jordan Love. Can he take over for Aaron Rodgers in the long run? There will be a lot of questions surrounding Rodgers’ future, and Jordan Love’s potential to replace him next season.
