With the Super Bowl in the rearview mirror, teams are making moves to prepare themselves for the next season. While the season doesn’t start until September, teams are hungry to strengthen their team enough to lift the Lombardi trophy. One of the first teams to make this move has been the Las Vegas Raiders, who have made a big decision regarding their long-time quarterback, Derek Carr.

The Oakland Raiders had originally drafted Carr back in 2014. He was not a very highly touted pick, being selected 36th overall in the second round. Since then, he has had a slightly above-average career. Furthermore, his last season was nothing to write home about. Carr played 14 games and in that time had 3522 yards with 24 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Additionally, his position with the Raiders seemed like it might not be very sure amidst Aaron Rodgers’ trade rumors. However, very recently, some groundbreaking news about him came to light.
