The Green Bay Packers started the game against the Jacksonville Jaguars as favorites. However, the home team had a tough time in the first half with the Jaguars defense giving Aaron Rodgers and Co. some problems in the middle.
But, as usual, the 2-time NFL MVP found a way to break a determined Jaguars defense.

The Packers were trailing by 3 points early on in the first half. Aaron Rodgers threw a splitting pass to talented wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling.
The 26-year-old then went on to run to the endzone to complete a touchdown and put the first points on the scoreboard for the home team.

At the end of the first half, Rodgers went 16 of 20, throwing for 200 yards, including 1 touchdown. The California-born quarterback also registered 1 rushing touchdown in the second quarter.
On 2 receptions, Marquez Valdes-Scantling registered 100 receiving yards with 1 receiving TD. The Packers ended the first 30 with a 7-point lead over the Jaguars.
